Unknown people blew up a snack machine on Unionstrasse in Linz

The detonation occurred on Tuesday night at around 2:40 a.m.: Unknown people had blown up a snack machine on Unionstrasse, near the intersection with Bahrgasse, probably using pyrotechnic objects. Neighbors reported a loud bang.

The device was completely destroyed. The force of the explosion was so strong that parts of the machine were scattered over a larger radius and also hit parked cars. Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
