The Greenfit project is being implemented in the Hummelhofwald. These exercise islands combine the planting of green spaces with the use of these areas for exercise and sport.
Wide range of exercises
Greenfit exercise islands can be set up in any open space suitable for tree planting. There is a wide range of exercise selections with different levels of difficulty, fitness goals (conditioning, strength, coordination/agility) and target groups e.g. b. Children, seniors etc.
The Greenfit exercise islands consist of:
- a newly planted tree
- made of specially designed tree supports that also act as sign holders
- three information boards with a total of 18 of the almost 200 Wohnfit/Greenfit fitness exercises
