The corona numbers were only published shortly before 4 p.m. after problems with the epidemiological reporting system (EMS). The number of infected people treated in the hospital rose again on Monday. 3,107 people have to be treated with Covid 19, 78 more than the day before.
Walter Hasibeder, President of the Society for Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care Medicine (ÖGARI), expects a decrease in the number of patients in intensive care in a week, he said in the Ö1 morning journal of ORF on Monday. There will only be real relaxation when only ten percent of the intensive care places are occupied by Covid patients, currently 30 percent.
