Brigitta and Heinz Niedl have been bringing culinary Christmas joy to the emergency shelter for years. This year they knocked on the Zöchling inn to receive support. To her surprise, Claudia Zöchling didn’t hesitate and whipped up 30 pieces of schnitzel for the residents of the Steyr emergency shelter. “We only contributed the salad,” says Niedl. The schnitzels themselves were freshly delivered by Horst Weinberger. “I used to often bring over the leftovers from the fire brigade buffet or from the golf course and also support families who could afford less,” says Niedl.
