13-year-old injured in a serious skiing accident on the Reiteralm

The girl lost control of her skis and fell into a safety net on the Schober downhill run, the Styria State Police Department reported in the evening. The police were called to a total of 15 accidents in the Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm ski areas, three of which involved third parties.

It was said that the reason for the large number of accidents was the high number of visitors and difficult driving conditions. The 13-year-old was given first aid by the piste rescue team and emergency doctor and then taken to the DKH Schladming by rescue helicopter.
