The festive dates at the end of the year are always the scene for an increase in the intensity of movement in Tres Cruces, from people who are already starting their vacations or traveling to spend New Year with family and friends.
Since Friday, this dynamic was seen in the Montevideo terminal, with 1,300 cars operating, of which 60% were heading to the interior of the country, according to the head of the Tres Cruces Control Tower, Pablo Saravíto Underlined.

The greatest movement in the terminal, however, is expected only on January 2, as happens every year, when people returning from the holidays converge with those starting their summer vacations.
Saturday “is also going to be a fairly intense day, until 2 or 3 in the afternoon. On Sunday you have to take certain precautions because services are being cut. Around 7 or 8 p.m. the last services, which are those for shorter distances, those for longer distances are cut around 1 or 2 p.m.,” Saraví clarified.
For Monday, it is expected that there will be 30% of the usual movement at the beginning of the week, around 400 services.
