The carport, under which two cars were parked, burned down completely. The flames also spread to the facade and roof of the house.
Thick clouds of smoke and firelight could be seen from afar, which is why alert level 2 was immediately declared. 11 alerted fire departments immediately began extensive extinguishing work to prevent the flames from spreading to surrounding buildings and the rest of the house.
It is currently unclear why the fire started.
