As head of the research department at Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG in Steyr, Gerhard Krisper wrote the first simulation programs on the computer. Manfred Rausch was not only a long-time police doctor, but also a volunteer board member of the care organization “Vita Mobile”. Anna Pohlhammer made her gallery a springboard on the art market not only for Michael Kienzer, Gunter Damisch and Siegfried Anzinger, while Pauline Leitner, as chairwoman of the Goldkappen group, maintained old cultural assets and customs for years and, as chairwoman of the parish council, also spent a lot of time for pastoral care in the Münichholz district brought up. Without Gertraud Klaus-Sternwieser’s work, the music world would be a lot poorer. The Reichraming native developed the madrigal choir in Steyr for the church music association “Sancta Caecilia” and thus also preserved the legacy of the choir director Professor Sulzer, who died in 2018. Mayor Markus Vogl (SP) recently awarded the city’s badge of honor to the five named and thanked the top performers: “People who are committed are the backbone of our society.” (feh)
