A truck, a Red Cross vehicle and a car were involved in the collision nearby on a country road between Cimpello and Sequals. The victims include a Red Cross volunteer and a patient.
Four occupants of an ambulance died last week after it collided with a coach in a road tunnel near Urbino in the Marche region of central Italy on Wednesday. The ambulance burst into flames. The victims were the three-person crew of the ambulance and one person who was transported to a hospital.
