In the last few weeks the BBC filmed a report about the musical tradition in the Salzkammergut. The contribution was shown to the British audience during a break as part of the broadcast of the Vienna Philharmonic’s New Year’s Concert.
The BBC interviewed Hubert von Goisern and presented Lake Traunsee, which is portrayed as a vacation spot for the composers Arnold Schönberg, Anton Bruckner, Johannes Brahms and Franz Schubert.
