The 25-year-old Tyrolean triumphed at the third World Cup stop in Winterberg in the single-seater, 29 thousandths of a second ahead of her closest competitor Julia Taubitz from Germany. The Tyrolean Hannah Prock managed to break free in third place (+0.305 seconds).
Egle had already won the 2022/23 season finale in North Rhine-Westphalia, and on Saturday she took a half-time lead to the finish. Lisa Schulte – last year’s runner-up – rounded off the strong ÖRV result in fifth place. In Egle’s eleventh World Cup victory, Prock was on the podium again for the first time since 2019.
