In order to be able to cover employee needs in the railway professions and to be up to date in apprentice training, the Austrian Federal Railways are expanding their training workshop in Attnang-Puchheim. By May of this year, an L-shaped, barrier-free hall will be built at the existing location, which will be connected to the existing building by a glazed corridor. The extension houses, among other things, a future laboratory with a laser and 3D printer, training rooms, a workshop and an IT room. The playground will be partially covered and equipped with plants and seating.
