There was a video greeting from Federal President Alexander van der Bellen, and a large number of legends such as Johnny Bjerregaard, Peter Schöttel, Michael Konsel and Heribert Weber were present. Union Berlin professional Christopher Trimmel came from the German capital. Herbert Feurer was honored on the occasion of his upcoming 70th birthday.
Speeches were given by, among others, Vienna’s sports city councilor Peter Hacker, cabaret artist Florian Scheuba and ORF “Gute Nacht Österreich” presenter Peter Klien, with Nino from Vienna providing the musical accompaniment. 1,200 people took part in the event and the tickets were sold out within a very short time.

An anniversary jersey edition was also presented, including a specially adapted coat of arms. The shirts are divided into a blue and red half based on the founding colors and will be worn by the Hütteldorfer professionals on February 4th in the cup quarter-final home game against SKN St. Pölten. The shirts were produced in an edition of 1,899 pieces and can be purchased at www.rapidshop.at.
