The Linz-based software company Pinpoll reported a “huge success” at the beginning of the year: The Upper Austrian start-up will be cooperating with the German Olympia publishing house and its sports platform kicker. The digital offering reaches over 13 million football enthusiasts every month, making it Germany’s sports media brand with the widest reach.
The contract, which is designed for long-term cooperation, came into force in January. With the AI-based application from Pinpoll, the kicker editorial team can easily and quickly create surveys for the website using automatically generated suggestions. These offer a high-quality advertising environment, are intended to increase user engagement and thus create sustainable reader loyalty, the contractual partners said.
Tobias Oberascher, founder and managing director of Pinpoll, was particularly proud of the collaboration as a loyal kicker reader and user. “Through our partnership with Olympia-Verlag, we can demonstrate that we are technology leaders in the area of AI-supported solutions for monetizing user engagement,” says Oberascher. He assumes that the cooperation will open many doors in the new year and contribute to further growth. Olympia-Verlag praised the Upper Austrian technology company’s individual solutions, its high standards of data protection and user-friendliness.
