A 42-year-old Slovenian citizen from Wels drove his car eastwards on Niederthanstrasse around 8:30 p.m. yesterday, Monday, and intended to turn right onto Wallerer Strasse at the intersection.
Presumably because he was drunk, the man steered to the right too early, causing him to drive through a wooden fence and come to a stop right in front of another fence. An alcohol test carried out showed a blood alcohol level of 2.04, and the man’s driver’s license was temporarily taken away.
