Snowfall and fog made the start of the Welscup difficult last weekend: only the children’s race could be held in Hinterstoder on Sunday. Student and adult runs had to be postponed due to constant snowfall and poor visibility. Despite great efforts, the organizers from SCU Eberstalzell were unable to remove the fresh snow from the fall areas.

With 38 children, the number of participants in the children’s race was back to pre-pandemic levels. Lea Mayrhofer from Eberstalzell was the shining winner: she achieved the absolute best time in both runs. Luca Strasser (ESKA) and Moritz Schartner (TVN) landed behind her.

In the team ranking, TVN is currently leading (194 points) ahead of Eberstalzell (192) and ESKA. It will be decided soon when the races will be rescheduled.
