Vaccinate at Banksy

The way to Impfstraße leads in the tobacco factory through the currently closed exhibition of the street artist Banksy in the Lösehalle, which is currently closed due to lockdown. There is certainly no boredom while waiting: The works of the celebrated graffiti artist guarantee that.

For Chris Müller, director of development, design and artistic agendas at the tobacco factory, the show is the perfect place for a vaccination route: “With his works, Banksy addresses issues that are burning under the nails. With Corona we are making the topic part of the exhibition, as it were. ”Oliver Forster, producer of the exhibition, Impfstraße not only makes a contribution to fighting pandemics, but also to the economic future of such cultural offers. Mayor Klaus Luger (SP) emphasizes that the path to normality with unrestricted cultural institutions only leads through a high vaccination rate.

No registration is required for the pop-up vaccination route, which is managed by the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund. Vaccinations are given on December 10th (9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.) and on December 11 and 12 (9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 5 p.m.).
