After the successful premiere last year, Sparkasse Mühlviertel West is once again launching the “Startklar” project this year. This is the second time the bank has supported a charitable project or purchase with an amount of 10,000 euros.

“It is particularly important to us that our funded project benefits many people in the long term, like the winning project ‘Beherzt’ from last year,” explains SMW CEO Christian Terink. The possibilities for this are diverse. The “Startklar” project is aimed at all clubs and non-profit institutions in the SMW catchment area that carry out projects in the areas of child, youth and family welfare, school and popular education, education and vocational training, art and science, amateur sports and nature conservation or want to implement local studies and need financial support for this.

A jury made up of representatives from the SMW, the supervisory board, the district administration and social organizations decides which three projects make it to the final round based on transparent evaluation criteria. The finalists then have the opportunity to personally convince the jury of their project. By voting online for the recorded presentations, you also have the chance to increase your points account for the prize money.

Special health award

In parallel to the “Startklar” project, Sparkasse Mühlviertel West is once again awarding a special prize for health promotion amounting to 2,000 euros during the same period. “With the special prize, we are consciously addressing a wider target group and focusing on topics that are particularly close to our hearts, such as the important topic of health promotion this year,” explains Jakob Peherstorfer, SMW marketing manager. Independent of the “Startklar” project, organizations can submit project ideas for implementing health promotion measures and take part in the competition.

Easy registration

Clubs and organizations can submit their project ideas in just a few steps by March 3rd using the online form at www.sparkasse.at. Forms are also available at SMW bank branches.
