The writer Lucia Leidenfrost, who comes from Frankenmarkt, will carry the title “Ludwigsburg Town Clerk” this year and will be a guest in the baroque city for several weeks in spring and summer. The 33-year-old was selected by a jury of experts from nine proposed authors. Not only was their willingness to deal with the Baden-Württemberg city praised, but also the quality of their previous works.
Lucia Leidenfrost lives as a writer, theater educator and teacher in Baden-Württemberg. She has already received numerous literary scholarships and prizes, including the literature scholarship from the state of Baden-Württemberg (2020) and the project scholarship from the Austrian Ministry of Culture (2022). Her prose debut “My tongue is so heavy” was published in spring 2017. In 2020, Leidenfrost published her first novel “We Abandoned Children”.
