A 52-year-old truck driver from Bulgaria was driving his tractor-trailer on the B137 from Schärding towards Andorf around 9:40 p.m. In the town of Teuflau (municipality of Andorf), a wild boar suddenly ran onto the road from the left and the driver had to brake his truck sharply. A following driver (21) from the Ried district noticed this too late and drove her car into the back of the semi-trailer.

The young woman was injured in the accident. After initial treatment, she was taken to the Ried hospital.
