This year there were almost 60 runners from all over the Wels-Land district. A record donation of 11,000 euros came from Thalheim for the anniversary.
It all started in 2002 in Kremsmünster. The municipality of Thalheim has been involved since 2004 and during this time the participating municipalities have been able to donate a considerable sum of more than 860,000 euros for families in need and people with serious illnesses or disabilities. Twelve communities took part at least once or, like the Thalheimers, have been running for a good cause for many years. In addition to active and former runners, sponsors and organizers were present at the anniversary celebration.
