The iconic spa will host the 14th edition of the José Ignacio Film Festival, which will be attended by prominent guests from the film and business world.

During the first day of the festival, 1,500 guests are expected to attend, among whom there will be prominent personalities from the world of cinema and entertainment such as Florence Raggi and Nicolás Repetto, Adrián Suar, Fernando Trocca, Maru Botana, and the “Chinese” Darín and Úrsula Corberó, among many others.

Likewise, prominent businessmen who take advantage of the summer season in the iconic Uruguayan resort will tour the José Ignacio locations chosen for the festival: the traditional Fishermen’s Descent, Pavilion VIK, and the novelty of this year, José Ignacio Oceanic Winery.

Cinema as culture and as an industry

The JJIFF has, among its objectives, to promote cinema as an art, but also as a industry fundamental both from culture and from its contribution to the development of countries. Just look at the search for new voices in Uruguayan fiction cinema and the strengthening of Latin American and international alliances that take place at the festival.

In this regard, some of its sponsors are Volvo, Unico 20° 87° Hotel Riviera Maya, Stella Artois, and Itaú Bank.
