Amstetten is giving away points again

The Carinthians won a five-set thriller 3-2 on Saturday evening. “I’m at a loss for words,” said the dismayed VCA coach Michael Henschke after the game.

After a good first set, Amstetten lost the following two rounds, but managed to escape into a deciding set. In this one it was a close 15:17.

“What we offered there was nowhere near the performance we last saw in the Waldviertel. I can’t understand that,” said Henschke, “we really have to come up with something.” As in the Waldviertel, his six missed three match points again: “If we keep the points like this, then we are in real danger of relegation.”
