Two planes from the fleets of Korean Air Lines and Cathay Pacific Airways collided their wings. According to official sources, no injuries were reported.
During the early hours of Tuesday, two planes collided their wings at New Chitose airport on the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido. The authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported.
A new accident took place in Japan, a country that had a complex start to the year. On this occasion, there were two aircraft – from the fleets Korean Air Lines and Cathay Pacific Airways – those whose wings collided while performing maneuvers on the takeoff runway.
Details of the accident in Japan

On board the Korean aircraft 289 passengers were traveling and crew members. On the other hand, it is unknown if there were passengers on board the Hong Kong flag airline plane at the time of the crash, although the Authorities confirmed that the accident did not cause any injuries.
The initial analysis carried out by the Korean company attributed that the cause of the incident was due to ground handling personnel who was towing the plane in the middle of heavy snow. On the side of Cathay Pacific Airways, there has been no official communication yet.
