A press release from the Ministry of Health said yesterday that overweight and obesity among children and young people were increasing and that marketing of sweet, salty or fatty products was increasing this trend – stricter regulations were therefore needed. Although influencer marketing must identify paid content as advertising, children and young people still find it difficult to distinguish between non-commercial and commercial content.
