The energy engineer studied at the Technical University of Vienna how safe the Austrian electricity system is with regard to climate change. The results of this study show the future need for expansion of power generation units, storage systems and networks and shed light on how stability can be increased during heat waves and long periods without sunshine in order to ensure a secure power supply in this country in the future. The technician will present this study and will be happy to answer questions. It starts at 4:30 p.m. and entry is free. Thanks to the cooperation with the Physical Society (ÖPG) and the Medienkulturhaus Wels, you can also take part via live stream. Link to www.welios.at
