In the six preliminary rounds in May and June, the 48 teams compete at six venues spread across all parts of the city. A team can have up to six members. The best 24 teams qualify for the intermediate rounds in September, October and November. The best four teams from each intermediate round will advance to the final, which will take place on December 14th in Welios.
Each quiz includes twelve categories with ten questions per round. A broad general knowledge is required; the categories range from history to technology to music. A puzzle evening lasts around two and a half hours.
