Video shows BMW crashes after illegal drift

You can see a driver who wanted to impress his friends in Steyr late yesterday, Thursday, in the late afternoon and started an unauthorized drift in his BMW between the vocational school and the Münichholz fire department.

In a left-hand bend he still has some control over his vehicle at the level of a bus stop, but in the following right-hand bend the young man loses control and crashes his car into a station wagon parked on the side of the road.

The Steyr police say the incident was known and was duly reported on Thursday as a normal traffic accident: “But of course this video now puts a completely different perspective on what happened.” The man will receive a report for improper driving and will face an administrative fine of at least 300 euros. However, the incident is not enough to get your driver’s license taken away.
