Contrary to what was originally presented, an accident occurred on Saturday afternoon in the Kreuzenstein swimming lake in Leobendorf (Korneuburg district): a 14-year-old did not break through the ice cover, but wanted to swim to the shore. He had previously been drifted onto the lake with a peer in a boat that had no paddles. The Lower Austria State Police Directorate confirmed a corresponding online report on Sunday afternoon.
