A 45-year-old man from the Grieskirchen district was alone in a forest around 8:10 a.m. and wanted to pull out a felled ash tree with the tractor. He mounted a chain around the tree trunk and operated the pulley on the rear of the tractor.
When pulled out, the tree got stuck on a tree stump. As a result, the chain broke and buckled back about three meters. The 45-year-old was hit by the chain and injured.
After initial treatment, the injured person was taken by ambulance to the Grieskirchen Clinic, where he was admitted as an inpatient.
