From Daecpu they reported that there will no longer be only two prices, but there are four different values.
The Montevideo Municipality will once again host one of the most important popular festivals and contests in the world. Uruguay and has already published the details of the dates and stages of the Official Competition and informed when the Inaugural Parade will be and, even more important, what its prices will be.
The Inaugural Carnival Parade will begin on Thursday, January 25 and will take place on Avenida July 18 and will go from Independence Square until the Cagancha Square. Meanwhile, the Samba schools will have their parade starting on Friday, January 26 and it will also be on Avenida 18 de Julio from Andes Street to Paraguay. For its part, the Llamadas parade will begin the month of February from Friday the 9th and Saturday the 10th and will take place on Isla de Flores street, from Zelmar Michelini to Minas.
What refers to Official Competition, This will take place starting January 29 at the Montevideo Summer Theater, once the parade stage ends. In this, 38 groups will participate: 21 murgas, five magazines and four groups, both parodists, comedians and lubolos.
Prices for the Official Contest
From the union that centralizes this event: Associate Directors of Popular Carnival Shows of Uruguay (Daecpu) announced that there will be something new this year. This corresponds to the fact that there will no longer be two prices, but four, due to the recategorization of the values on each of the plates.
On the other hand, they recalled that the locations are numbered – with a total forum of 4,000 locations – and that through the platforms of Abitab (Abis), BROU and Exact there are benefits. Meanwhile, if there are any tickets left over, they can be purchased at the Parque Rodó stage box office starting at eight at night, although they will have an adjustment in price.

- Lower central sector stall (B): $800
- Side sector lower plate (A and C): $700
- Upper stall central sector (E): $400
- High plate lower lateral sectors (D and F): $ 400
- High plate upper lateral sectors (D and F): $350
