The man and his 40-year-old son from the Ried district brought felled tree trunks to the storage area with a tractor. The tree trunks were secured with chains and attached to the tractor. The 40-year-old drove the vehicle while his father walked alongside the tree trunks. One of them got wedged, was picked up and hit the man standing next to it.
The injured man was flown to the hospital in Ried by emergency medical helicopter.
