The perpetrator entered the “Am Eck” tobacconist in Steyr around 4 p.m. last Friday, demanded “This is a robbery, I know it’s all big money – just banknotes” and pointed a pistol at the 63-year-old employee (the OÖNachrichten reported ). The woman took all the cash notes from the cash drawer and the perpetrator put them in his jacket pockets. The gunman then demanded that the employee get more cash from the back of the tobacconist. When she stated that there was no money there, the man fled. A reward of 1,000 euros was offered for information that leads to the arrest of the perpetrator.
