He was arrested and the murder weapon was confiscated from the man who lived in Linz.
He could not give a motive for his attack. He was taken to forensic psychiatry after consultation with the Linz public prosecutor, the police reported on Saturday.

According to the injured man’s description, the 42-year-old Briton was stabbed as he was passing by after he looked at the stranger because of his scanty clothing.
After the passerby saw blood on his hand, he asked another pedestrian for help. The Brit was treated for his wounds on an outpatient basis in a hospital.
