Masked man attacked supermarket in Vöcklabruck with a pistol

The man wearing a balaclava intercepted three female employees at the back entrance and forced them to go back into the store with a black pistol. He asked one of the women to open the safe. After handing over the money, he tied up all three with cable ties that he had brought with him and fled in an unknown direction, the police reported.

While one employee opened the safe for the armed man, the other two women had to lie on the floor. A few minutes later, the three women were able to free themselves from the shackles and press the alarm button. They suffered minor injuries to their wrists and suffered severe shock.

According to the description, the wanted criminal was around 50 to 55 years old and of normal build. He spoke Upper Austrian dialect and wore a dark jacket with blue jeans and black shoes. He was carrying a blue shopping bag. The police asked for information to the permanent service of the State Criminal Police Office on 059133/40-3333
