Armed with nothing but scrap and an unerring sense of rhythm, the wonderfully idiosyncratic STOMP characters explore previously unknown depths of sound – as fresh, curious and playful as on the first day. Be amazed by the fine art of finger snapping, broom swinging and trash can rattling!
Whether matchboxes, brooms or sinks – the STOMP cosmos is as diverse as it is inexhaustible. In him, everyday things transform into singing rubbish and symphonic rubbish. What began over 25 years ago in the streets of Great Britain with hands, feet and a few brooms has long since become a worldwide sound phenomenon: Manhattan renamed 8th Street “Stomp Avenue” and London gave the show the most important British Olivier Award Theater Prize.
