At around 11:56 p.m., the Raffelstetten fire department was called to report a suspected fire on the company’s premises Schuster, who specializes in the recycling of scrap metal, raised the alarm.
The suspicion was confirmed, whereupon the Asten fire department was requested to provide support.

The fire started in a large pile of scrap metal. The firefighters were on duty for several hours. According to the fire department, there was no danger of it spreading to surrounding objects.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
