In order to be able to supply the Upper Austrian hospitals with blood and blood products, around 50,000 blood units are needed every year. The Red Cross blood center in the hospital district in Linz is responsible for the care. But for this to be possible, many people are needed to help – including volunteers, for example with the telephone service that informs, educates and looks after blood donors.
The Red Cross is currently looking for volunteers like Sabina L., for whom the service is an integral part of their lives. If you want to get involved, you can find more information at:
