The Energy and Water Services Regulatory Unit (Ursea) foresees an increase in the naphtha and a drop in gasoil for February, according to its report on the Import Parity Prices (PPI) corresponding to last January.

Regarding liquefied petroleum gas (supergas), which has been sold for a long time below the import parity price, had a variation of 4.15%. In turn, the propane had a variation of 6.21%, while the fuel oil medium and heavy, 4.30% and 3.34%, respectively.

Compared to an international price of Petroleum which is stable, Undersecretary of Industry, Energy and Mining (MIEM), Walter Verriassured last week that this could be an element for the price of gasoline to remain stable in the month of February and lower the gasoil. In addition to the price of oil, the leader points out that the exchange rate must also be considered.
