Ski racer Lara Bacherer was crowned Wels city champion

City champion Lara Bacherer (Slalom and RTL) and city champion Roland Kainz

Due to the rain on Friday, the piste on the Lärchenhang was extremely icy. Lara Bacherer coped best with these difficult conditions. The ski racer from the Eska Wels ski club won both the slalom on Saturday and the giant slalom on Sunday and was crowned two-time Wels city champion. Roland Kainz (TVN Sparkasse Wels) won the men’s slalom. Johannes Gassner won the city championship title in giant slalom for the Eska ski club.

The overall leaders in the Catfish Cup are Lara Bacherer and Johannes Gassner.

For the children, Lena Mayrhofer (SCU Eberstalzell) and Nico Bandalo (TVN Wels) won the slalom and giant slalom respectively.

The Wels family snow spectacle will also take place at the next Welscup ski race in Hinterstoder on March 17th. The racers are looking forward to many spectators.
