The police have now reported a success in their investigation: the perpetrators now have to justify themselves before the Traunstein public prosecutor’s office. The officers got on the students’ trail because they had found clues about the perpetrators during another investigation: a 14-year-old was being investigated for illegal pyrotechnics. It is not yet possible to accurately quantify how much damage the group has caused. The Burghausen police assume a “significant five-figure amount”.
