Uruguay and Vietnam strengthen ties with trade agreements in their sights

The minister of Foreign Affairs, Omar Paganini, met with the ambassador of Vietnam in Argentina, Duong Quoc Thanh, who will soon end his diplomatic mission in Uruguay. There, the foreign minister affirmed that both countries have ample room to continue deepening bilateral cooperation, and expressed his hope that the Asian nation will soon install its embassy in Montevideo, to continue working at the same time.

Meeting with Cosse

The Vietnamese ambassador also had a working meeting with the mayor of Montevideo —and presidential candidate for the Frente Amplio—, Carolina Cosse; in which the establishment of a cultural space that represents the community of Vietnam It was one of the central themes.
