On Tuesday there was an argument between a 27-year-old and his partner of the same age in their apartment in Gallspach. The young woman therefore fled to her parents’ apartment in Bad Schallerbach with her one-year-old son and her 23-year-old brother.
Her partner pursued her and the argument escalated. The Syrian is said to have grabbed a kitchen knife and threatened to kill several family members. He injured the woman’s 23-year-old brother in the hand.

He fled to his apartment, where the police rapid intervention group arrested him shortly afterwards. The officers issued a no-approach or entry ban and the 27-year-old was taken to the Wels prison.
