Live: Super-G der Damen in St. Moritz

Live: Super-G der Damen in St. Moritz

Downhill Olympic champion Sofia Goggia already has an impressive series of successes to show despite her injury last January and now she wants to go even further. If she wins both Super-Gs in Switzerland after her triple in Canada, she would be the first to win the first five speed races of the season since Katja Seizinger in 1997/98 (6 wins in a row).

Mirjam Puchner from Salzburg associates good and bad memories with St. Moritz. On the one hand there was her World Cup premiere victory, on the other hand she suffered a lower leg fracture during training as a World Cup favorite in 2017, which had to be operated on four times. Since her downhill success in 2016, no Austrian has triumphed in the World Cup in St. Moritz. The last Austrian to win a Super-G World Cup in St. Moritz was Michaela Dorfmeister in January 2006.

The start is at 10.30 a.m. To the live ticker:
