“Uruguay forward” will be the electoral slogan of the former Secretary of the Presidency, Álvaro Delgadowho launched his campaign this Monday, accompanied by several members of the government and with a speech that vindicates the current administration, before beginning a tour throughout the country.
The table he chose for the presentation of his campaign is a sign about who, surely, will be the main figures who will accompany Slim in what is to come, and was made up of the current ministers Martin LemaofSocial Development (Mides)and Javier Garciaof National defensewho are expected to resign from their positions in the coming days, as well as the Vice President of the Republic, Beatriz Argimón.
In front of them were a large number of leaders from the Aire Fresco sector, from legislators to mayors and mayors, with the idea of accompanying the candidate who will claim the management of the national government in his speeches.
“We are going to offer people the possibility of re-electing the government,” he said. Slim at the launch of his campaign, which will have as a bunker the same place used by the President Luis Lacalle Pou in the previous electoral contest. “We are tremendously committed to this government.
