In Haid, a 43-year-old man was driving his mother’s car on Traunuferstrasse from the B139 in the direction of Ansfelden yesterday, Monday evening.

While turning left he collided with the corner pillar of a garden fence. According to witnesses, the driver from the Linz-Land district left the scene of the accident, but the front license plate remained on the road.
Based on the license plate, the registration holders were investigated. As a result, her son was identified as the driver of the accident and asked to take a breathalyzer test, which was positive. The driver’s license has been temporarily revoked and a report will be filed.
