GFM supports the Red Cross

As part of a cooperation with the Steyr Red Cross, the Steyr mechanical engineering company GFM supports the “RK-Lesecoach” project against educational poverty and the disaster relief service with a vehicle. The partnership has initially been sealed until 2026.

“We are convinced that social commitment is an important part of sustainable corporate management,” says GFM owner and managing director Michael Kralowetz. “With this cooperation, we would like to make a contribution to security and quality of life in our region. In addition to the disaster relief service, the reading coach is a project close to our hearts to enable young people to graduate from school.”

“Further training and appropriate equipment for employees in the disaster relief service are guaranteed by the financial support of GFM. This also makes appropriate preparation for major disasters and the purchase of new vehicles and emergency equipment possible. In the “RK Reading Coach” project, additional reading folders and trolleys and teaching materials can be provided “We are very grateful for that,” says RK district office manager Urban Schneeweiß.
