“The embassy expresses deep condolences to the families and friends of those killed in a series of devastating tornadoes that hit the central regions of the United States,” the diplomatic mission said on Facebook.

In addition, the Russian diplomatic mission wished “a speedy recovery to the victims of the disaster.”

On December 11, US President Joe Biden called the tornadoes and hurricanes that hit a number of states the largest in history. The politician instructed to deploy emergency and rescue services in the affected territories, to establish water supply and the supply of necessary goods.
