The first baby in the new delivery room

Since Friday, February 2nd, babies have been born at the Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen Klinikum Kirchdorf in the new delivery room. After more than six months of renovation, it is now finished. Women in labor can relax in the new rooms on the second floor. Little Linda was born here on Friday. “The rooms convey an appealing atmosphere and security. Thanks to the great care, we felt very comfortable when our daughter was born,” says the new mother.

“In addition to the well-equipped delivery room, a second birthing tub was installed. Water births are still popular,” says Primary Josef Hager, head of the department of gynecology and obstetrics. Water births have been very important at PEK Kirchdorf for more than 20 years.
