Yesterday, the technical train of the Steyr Volunteer Fire Department rescued a truck from a dangerous situation. The driver of the 14-ton two-axle truck got too far onto the shoulder while reversing on a narrow company driveway near the Steyrtalbahn train station, causing it to break away under the load and the truck slipped sideways.

“We are well equipped for such operations and, thanks to our sensitive crane driver, we lifted the truck back onto the access road after just 70 minutes,” says Commander Markus Schaumberger. The freight forwarder was able to unload and continue driving undamaged.
